The Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) is an annual event in which about 500,000 Scouts and Guides all over the world make contacts with each other by means of amateur radio.

The worldwide Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) is organized to coincide with the third full weekend of October each year. The event starts at 00.00 hours local time on the Saturday and concludes 48 hours later at 24.00 hours local time on the Sunday. Each station can choose its own operating hours within this period.

The 52nd Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) and 13th Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) this year during the weekend of 17 and 18 October 2009.
